What is Onsite Water Reuse?
Onsite water reuse is the process of treating and reusing water locally within a single building or connected community for a variety of non-potable purposes. Applications where treated water can be reused are irrigation, toilet and urinal flushing, clothes washing and in cooling tower HVAC systems. The water can be collected from sources like rainwater, greywater (from sinks, showers, and washing machines), and blackwater (from toilets and kitchen sinks).
The collected water is stored onsite then treated and filtered through our patented system that includes at its heart a robust ceramic membrane Nano-Filtration to remove & separate impurities & contaminants, including micro pollutants, bacteria & viruses. The treated water is then stored and used for non-potable applications reducing the need for potable water for these purposes.
